Developed for landscape professionals wanting to formulate their design philosophy and create plans that are stunning, unified and functional. This is a hands-on workshop that will not only increase your knowledge of landscape design but sharpen your pencils because you will leave with a greater understanding of how to draw plans that will amaze your clients. With an architectural approach to design along with an emphasis on form composition and lines of force, the workshop will weave sustainable, earth-friendly principles into the traditional design.
This workshop is geared to train attendees in design theory; moving from a basic understanding to creating a master plan in just one day! Improve your skills as you create and sell beautiful, practical, profitable earth-friendly design solutions for your clients.

About the instructors:



Vicki Proano is a landscape designer/installer in Atlanta, Georgia. Vicki holds degrees in Environmental Science and Environmental Horticulture and Design and was named Horticulture Student of the Year at Gwinnett Technical College. She manages marketing and communications for Landscape Design & Graphics Workshops and assists with educational workshops throughout the U.S.

Bill Slack is an author, lecturer and registered landscape architect with over 25 years of design experience. For 13 years, Bill served on the faculty at the University of Georgia. During that time, he was named the top Extension Landscape Architect in the United States. Bill is the author of 19 landscape/gardening publications including his most recent book: Southern Living Garden Guide to Landscaping.

Dr. Richard Ludwig is a 30-year career educator and retired director of the horticulture program at Gwinnett Technical College. Dr. Ludwig was named Instructor of the Year at Gwinnett Technical College, Georgia Educator of the Year by the Georgia Green Industry and Technical Educator of the Year by Georgia Commercial Flower Growers Association. He is the former host of GardenSmart, a National PBS Gardening Show and the National Spokesperson for MiracleGro Potting soils.
